Your team must have some collaboration tool such as slack for remote collaboration. It's important to protect the sense of belongingness that you have with your Company.

This goes much deeper than just being productive, it's also about your morale and feeling of being associated with a mission that is adding value to the world.

For this purpose, I'll throw in some pro tips around what you should do to make your presence felt all the time in the team which will stir productivity in long term.

All you've to do is to make sure that you're readily available for collaboration and respond to texts and messages in real time.

Once you get used to Remote work, then we'll learn more about Asynchronous communication but let's save that for later.

Update Work Time

At Pesto, we encourage everyone to follow a fixed work schedule. Remote work allows you to not only avoid traffic but also work as per whatever time suits you.

Once you know your schedule, we request our team to update their work timing everyday and mention their work timing instead of their surname since it's 0 value add. (Unless you've a bunch of people with same names ;)

This allows us to do synchronous communication on the go and keep a track on whoever we're talking to.
